    Telodendron

    • Telodendron (plural: telondendria; from Greek: τέλος δέντρο meaning "tree + end") is a distal branch of a neuronal axon that can further branch into axon terminals. While each neuron only has one axon, it can branch into several telondendria and form presynaptic vesicles for neurotransmission at each branch.
